PIP® Flame-Resistant Arc Flash Workshirts, 8.5 cal/cm2

Flash fires and arc flashes happen fast and can cause severe damage or even death. ThesePIP®8.5 cal/cm² Dual Certified Long Sleeve Button Down Workshirts are ideal for wearers who are exposed to ARC flash and flame risk. Flame resistant products pass specific ASTM tests that deem the fabric flame resistant and provide electricians protection against clothing ignition, sustained flame spread and will not melt or drip. The material also self extinguishes and the FR properties will last for the wearable life of the garment.

Made a lightweight 7oz. 90% cotton/10% nylon FR twill. Shirts have 2 chest pockets with a pencil line in each and a buttoned flap closure. Bar-tacked at all stress points. Sewn with an aramid high-tenacity FR thread. Contains melamine FR buttons, front closure, collar, cuffs and pockets.
