This Cool Grip® Kevlar® Protex® Industrial Work Safety Glove fromSuperior Glove®offers the best in heat and cut protection with a7-gaugeblend of Kevlar® and Protex® yarns and siliconeheat-resistantstrips that line along the palm and finger tips. Kevlar® fiber will not melt or drip when exposed to open flame and Protex® is an advanced flame-resistant fiber which is great for heat and spark. Combining these fibers gives the wearer maximum protection against heat. With a high-bulk polyester inner layer, a softer, more comfortable fit is achieved.

Silicone strips are lined across the palm and finger tips to greatly enhance thermal properties – this glove withstood a time to pain of 45 seconds at 600°F (315°C). Silicone strips are contoured to the shape of the human hand as to not impede freedom of movement while providing additional grip. The curved, ergonomic shape makes this glove unusually comfortable for a high-heat glove.
