TheseANSI Type R Class 2FR Treated Westex® DH fabric vests fromPIP®are ideal for use in work conditions that requireHi-Vizsafety apparel be worn with with flame or arc flash protection. Type R garments provide enhancedvisibility for workers who are exposed to highway traffic over 25 mph and work against complex backgrounds durnig daytime and nighttime environments. This includes exposure to vehicles using the highway for purposes of travel, roadway temporary traffic control (TTC) zones or from work vehicles and construction equipment within a roadway temporary traffic control (TTC) zone.

Theseflame-resistant mesh safety vestsfeature 2-inch 3M Scotchlite FR reflective tape for superior visibility, self binding, FR hook and loop closure and have an arc rating: ATPV 8.9 cal/cm2. To Be Worn Over Arc Rated Clothing Only. Not meant to be worn alone or over Non-Arc Resistant apparel.
